Hey guys is there still no solution???

if not WTF.....

If yes i was to lazy to read 7 pages.

Here is the solution.

Step 1:

Add COD MW2 to a smartlaunch application using the STEAM licencing unit. To make sure it launches the correct game you need the steam id from the desktop short cut.

Step 2:

Add every STEAM account to your list of accounts under a NEW STEAM type of licence

Step 3:

Log in and play it works fine no problems.

For those of you that are worried about cafe accounts.

I have spoken to Valve directly and you are aloud to have any game that is not available on the CAFE system on a separate account.

I would also get in touch with valve and register your accounts. As you can be un VAC banned if anything was to happen. THIS ONLY HAPPENS FOR CAFES THAT ARE PART OF THE CAFE PROGRAM.

I would recommend no putting any game on the same account as another game. Just make a new account for every "SINGLE" game you buy

I have accounts

imw21
imw22
imw23
and so on all with the same password and linked in SL

I have no problems.

If anyone needs a guide im happy to make one.

ok dumb question... I set up the game fine with steam etc... on the single player though i can not get the saves to work... do they get associated with the cd key and or the steam acount? i get no error message from the game or anything. why would they release such a complicated system??? they are trying to make our lives simpler but.... they turn to be more complicated than ever.

Problems with the way Steam synchronizes the savegame data have been here for a long time. And with each Steam Client Update they said they "Really solved it"... don't believe them...
