Same here as Voudas,

LAN it's ok with cdkeys stored in SL license system and distributed via registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\Activision\Call of Duty WAW\codkey ( leave it empty at registry "codkey"= ).

Master Server is blocked. I haven't find any private servers though for proper online play

But, Ihave a problem at playing Co-Op.
I tried to install the game at a new location with the same cdkey distributed from SL, but it seems that it doesn't work.

Any suggestions ?

We have 8 on-line accounts that we pass around to 25 computers without any issues at all.  They can all play on-line or LAN.  Are you guys using downloaded hacked versions?  It sure sounds like it if you have to use hacked servers.  I hope that is not the case because it hurts the entire industry.

Once again, the biggest issue for us on this game is getting the profiles (stats, etc.) to migrate with the user just like COD4 does. In my previous post(s) I outlined what I believe are the reasons for the profile failures. We are indeed using valid keys.

Does anyone have useful input on the profiles issues we are seeing?

you mean manually passing around the accounts?

and ofcourse if you have lets say 100 customers that play cod, they cannot have their own stats...

my priority is to have individual stats saved, the easiest way possible...

we are not hurting the industry, they do, if they did not bind each key to a specific account i would have bought enough licences for each client... now in theory i need as many as the sum of cod players (taking granted that i need their stats saved)... thats ridiculous...

They all have to share accounts and stats.  It is impossible to do it any other way.  It will never operate like COD4 because it is completely different.  That stats move with the premade accounts and do not reset but they are shared accounts.  If you do not want shared accounts then you would have to have a new cd key for every person that plays the game as stated.

Now I see what you guys are doing.  Sacrificing on-line play to perserve stats for LAN only.  That would not work to good here as most people want to play online, even with the shared accounts.  If they really want persistent stats then they can play COD4.

online play is not totally sacrificed, it's just limited to a small private server list

but i agree, here they mostly play lan...

@clueless

I have not been able to migrate stats with my house accounts. Can you share an example of how you are doing this?

The accounts are connected to the cd key.  The account info is downloaded depending on the cd key.  We use license management to pass around the cd keys. Then we launch a bat file that deletes "active.txt", which is stored in the player profile directory in the my docs folder.  That is all there is to it.
