their are an lot of games I have had installed that steam now has with the cafe version free

to try and keep everything the same i wanted to uninstall my installed games and use the ones the steam server installs but I don't want them to load through the steam loading menu I want to still use my old game menu's

( I have not used the cafe steam version long but is their an way to add more games or are we only stuck with the ones they give us ?? )

is their an way to pre load all game content on steam so people that own the game can play it instantly ?

LOL back to square one again now that CAS is discontinued :S

Re adding all steam games to launch via SL again :S

I hope gizmo can think of a way for us to have live game updates from a master server soon Tongue

maybe what we need is a 3rd party script to sit between SL and its liecence management

ie

Load game Via SL > loads Gizmo Verifies Content is actually their and upto date .. > Launches game Via SL with LIC ?

Well you can have steam installed along with steam cas client on your computers. That would allow you to launch steam and allow your costumers to use their own accounts and run games through cas.
To launch games directly try checking out valves wiki http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Command_Line_Options#Optional_parameters.

Hey CATZ, as long as steam has the game installed any user weather private or cafe can play that game as long as they have added the cd key to there account. If its not installed in the first place it will show up as grey and they can then click on it and download that title, patch and play then it is available to any user...again as long as they have it added to their account.

With your old game menu's the only way you can use them still is to have steam start in the back ground and to change the shortcuts to the new one....eg I have my steam start on windows startup and the games I play the most in a custom toolbar so I don't have to open steam then search for the game. Should work in SL still.
