I use SL4 /build 585/.. I used W3 licence management wizard for Warcraft3 FT.. when i launch game, i have this error log..

Quake 4 license management

How do you guys do it? I could not find anything about it in forum, I tried to deal with batch files, but no luck. Built-in Q4 management does not work.

Here's what I have in my batch file:

copy *.* "C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4\q4base"

Also there is a z:\keys\Q4 directory where keys are. This is what's that file called "quake4key"

In sl license management:

ex.path: c:\batch\Q4.bat

Arguments: %license%

numbers 1,2,3,4 etc

Seems like bat command simply won't move quake4key file from c:\keys\Q4\1

Problem With w3lm

Hi , I have installed warcraft 3 roc +ft +1.22 update installed .
The smartlaunch key manager is working correct with the w3lm.exe and the arguments %license%
Keys installed as follow {roc key} {space} {ft key}
all works perfect and the license status says that the keys is delivered so form smart lauch server and etc we are fine
The problem comes at the pc . i spend 2 days reading ur forums + some other forums
and i did test w3lm at 1 2 3 pcs from cmd adding test test or even the cd keys of the game.
the error msg that i saw is " key not installed " i even try some other cd key changers with the same resault the cd key wont change .
OS: Win xp pro sp3 full updated
i did reinstall the game again and again and i have the same problem .
I am w8ing for \Answer as soon as possible i am opening my Net-Cafe tommorow and i cant make this work sos :cool:

Hi, I've read the forum some but first post. I have been pulling my hair out trying to get CoD WaW to work with the cd image. I'm finding practically no detailed information regarding this. I made an image using Alcohol 120% and a script file using daemonscript and everything in the smartlaunch settings seems to be pointing to the right locations but i still get a window asking for the cd every time i run the game. i tried remaking the image with different settings in Alcohol 120% several times to see if it mad a difference but it didn't. Can anyone help?

I did the right path \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ activision \ call of duty 4 \ codkey and I did not mit dashes in returning the keys.

Does the STEAM Licence distribution in SL, Account & Password actually work in SL? Should I even bother?

IF it does NOT work through SL Account Distribution, then what do you do? Alot of ppl miss out critical points when describing how they set up theirs.... eg, i have a batch file which does...... and/or i have a script which does...... what is says? where these files are located to help out some less knowledgable.......

1st time glanze 4 me it looks like reg edit is enuf , but im not sure yet , since 0 has blown up or anything so far ..

but cdkey is in the :

Hey,

Is anyone else experiencing problems with spore license keys? We have it installed and after 2 days all oure License-Keys where used. and the game became unavaileble. We have contacted EA-Support to check out if there is any option from them to this problem, the answer was a clear "NO".

now i wonder, does anyone else have SPORE installed on their computers and used the license keys. and is now expericing the loss of license keys?

if you got a solution to this, please let me know.

Looks like these licenses are pretty easy to setup, using a reg key location for the CD key just like COD4. However, unlike COD4 the profiles are stored online and not locally. The problem appears to be getting the users back to their created profiles since the profiles stick to the CD keys. With the SL license rotation they will not always get the same CD key. Still need more testing but I am hoping this is similar to the way BF2142 works. With BF2142 you could delete your profile when you filled up the available slots and retrieve the stats by recreating it again later.

Please let me know if anyone has other ideas or experience with this new COD title.

anyways I've read in some forums that it will not need the cd to run in multy nor in single, is it possible? that would be too good to be true!!

I can't believe in 2008 one can just instal (with a proper cdkey of course) and play freely...

if anyone got some news about it please let me know!!

Its not working for me.
When i play lan, and another computer login with same key, the other computers got black screen.
Seems like the key-management on smartlaunch not working.

hi, I decided to post because after the announcement of "new management" I've seen a lot of replys from the staff, so it looks like they really got it this time!!

anyways, I wanted to buy those games for my gc as they really rock in multiplyer mode, but I've read somewhere that you have to register online on ea's servers and that only one user per license is admitted...

is it true? anyone has those games installed? I don't care about lan gaming as it obviously work, but what happens when two customers register their nicks online two times per copy? or is it just that I can register all 20 copies on me and then they can go online changing profiles and that's it?

please help me cause this games has great potential and atm I can get them for real cheap!!

C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\WorldShift\Cfg\Settings.ini

I think it might has the same protection with Unreal Tournament 3.

No idea if any 1 else has it , but .. when the game loads from windows its just fine , when i load it from the smartlaunch , the gfx looks 100% wierd , ive tried reinstalling the gfx driver and such , but nothing helps there 4 me ..

the setup 4 management of keys are easy:

Edit the game path in config.ini to point to the installation directory

This an executable that use reversed AutorunGui.dll from Battle For Middle Earth Setup disk.
Cd Key directly encrypted and game2.dat is placed in your game installation directory.

For people using the old setup only thing must be done is to swap the executables and you no longer need load.exe from old setup.

Thanks goes to the person that knows his name ;) for reversing the dll.

Fixed version value checks.
Use Config.ini to set path to the game location.

This is automated game setup that takes all the steps needed to generate encrypted Game2.dat in install directory .
This will allow you to manage your CD Keys automatically undepended of the hardware / software installation on your machines.

Usage:
Setup a license management same way as posted here

Explanation:
1) The process reads out the path to the game form the config.ini .
If path is not found you will get "Install Path Value Not Found" error.
2) The process delete the Game2.dat from game install directory .
3) Automated Setup is initiated ( almost transparent to the end user )
4) The process checks if setup was sucessful and Game2.dat is in place .
If failed you will get Key not installed Error message.

Hi guys! Actually I'm looking forward to pass form my actual CyberCafe Software to Smartlaunch! The main thing is the LICENSE MANAGEMENT tool! Actually I installed the trial just to have a look at the software. But I have some questions before I decide to make the final step:

1. It is written that the new version supports 300 presets to the most popular games. Can anyone give me the list (even by mail)? What I'm interested mostly are PES, FIFA, COD 4, WOW (actually I use Valve Cybercafe so I don't need any management for these other games).
2. SL is intended to work only on clients with administrative privileges on Windows right?!
3. How many printers can support at once SL Server?
4. On my experience FIFA uses an association of CD-keys with a specific profile for the online playing. How is this managed in SL (I mean anyone having an experience). And is there any way to hide these keys form users?

These are some of my main concerns. Actually I'm planning to solve my doubts before the 3d of October (the official release of FIFA) so I would really appreciate any quick reply to my questions.

if any 1 else know of any cheats/hacks to steam plz pos here about the .exe files(only),

cafes need to stay un vac banned , else they will end up loosing alot of money!

(in denmark the way to get un vac banned is deleting all steam folders , delete the steam cafe certifiket and then call em to give you a new steam certifiket . reinstall of it all and then you back to normal) (this can take up to 14 days btw)

also wanna get a list up of the known p2p klients that customers might wanna try to start up from the cafe .. utorrent and what not , but have to spend time getting a list made 1st ..

also on side note , if i posted this in the wrong section on forum im so sorry , just couldent find anything anywhere about this ..
